I am unsure if I should apply to the Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire scheme, can you help?
A. You can check by clicking here, entering your postcode and ticking the “Local Authority” area. It will tell you which Local Authority Area you live in.

If it’s Amber Valley, Bolsover, Chesterfield, Derbyshire Dales, Erewash, High Peak, North East Derbyshire, or South Derbyshire then you live in Derbyshire.

If you live in Ashfield, Mansfield, Bassetlaw, Newark & Sherwood, Gedling, Broxtowe, Rushcliffe or Nottingham City, then you live in Nottinghamshire.

How do I find out what public transport I can use?
A. You can use the Traveline East Midands Journey Planner to see if there is suitable transport available for you when you need to get to work or college. If you find there isn't and you live in an area covered by the scheme then give Wheels to Work a call.

If there is public transport, can I still apply?
A. Mopeds are loaned only where there is no other suitable transport. If affording the transport is the problem, we may be able to pay for public transport for a limited time under our IGNITION scheme. Please call for details.
